How To Install Counter Strike 1.6 On Windows 8

As per the description provided, it looks like facing an outcome with Counter Strike on windows 8 operating system.

I would suggest you to uninstall Counter Strike completely and install the game in compatible fashion and bank check if it helps.

a. Right click on the setup file and select Properties.
b. Click the compatibility tab, tick the box adjacent to Run this program in compatibility way for and select Windows.

Annotation: If the upshot still persist, then I would suggest you lot to contact the game manufactures support and bank check if they have released any new update pack for Counter Strike.

Motherboard : DG41RQ
Processor : Cadre 2 Duo E7500 2.93 GHz
Hard disk drive Memory : 500 GB
Monitor : Viewsonic LCD VA712

Trouble :
I cant run my multiplayer game counter-strike i.6 since its working on protocol 47...and non working in new version protocol 48 ( neccessary for playing online as Ultra Core Protector Anti-cheat simply supports protocol 48)...its not launching the application .... "WITHOUT GIVING Whatsoever ERRORS"....its non proccessing the awarding...i even don't go any error on my screen...i tried everything similar 'run as administrator' or changing the compatibility....i really demand aid urgent. !!!!!
No errors null....just cant understand the situation.!!!!

Laptop specifications:
Ram : (8 GB)
Graphic card : ATi Mobility Radeon 4650
Processor : Core i5 460m 2.53 ghz
Difficult disk Memory : 500 GB

I am having same trouble .. Information technology works without UCP-Anti-Cheat. But when patched with UCP-Anti-Crook .. It doesn't work .. Doesn't requite any Errors What so Always .. I tried the compatibility Modes and unlike Counter Strike ane.6 Installations ..

i am having the same problem simply i tin can't open up counter strike 1.6 steam, only not-steam from Digital Zone :@

hi vijin.

I have the same trouble i had installed cs1.six and it work properly and then every bit presently as i install UCP(ultra core protector) its an anti crook programme for cs. My cs stopped working and it creates no errors. Kindly help me to resolve this issue as i find peoples online who are playing on windows 8 and they install ucp also.

Hey, I was facing same problem while running UCP anticheat it stops proverb ucp.exe not working

and so I just chnge displlay style to d3d ,
right click on cs.exe

in target as : after -game cstrike add " -d3d" without quotes.

Information technology will work !

I am using CS i.half dozen Longhorn edition 2022 and UCP 8.0
